BIO: Melanie R. Anderson is an assistant professor of English at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. She is the co-author of Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction (Quirk, 2019) and the author of Spectrality in the Novels of Toni Morrison (University of Tennessee Press, 2013). She is the co-editor of The Ghostly and the Ghosted in Literature and Film: Spectral Identities (University of Delaware Press, 2013 and 2015) and Shirley Jackson, Influences and Confluences (Routledge, 2016).
