BIO: Rena Mason began writing in 2009, proving it’s never too late to get those demons out of your head and onto paper. She had her first novel accepted in 2012 for publication in 2013, had her first short story accepted and published in 2012, and had her first novella accepted in 2012 for a 2013 publication, and she hasn’t stopped since. Her co-written screenplay was a 2014 Stage 32 /The Blood List Search for New Blood Screenwriting Contest Quarter-finalist. She writes in multiple genres often mashing them up with a focus on horror but also enjoys the challenge of writing in genres she hasn’t written in previously, the most recent a military sci-fi thriller.
She is a member of the Horror Writers Association, Mystery Writers of America, International Thriller Writers, and The International Screenwriters’ Association.
An R.N., avid scuba diver, and world traveler, she currently resides in Reno, Nevada but spends a lot of time on the Key Peninsula in Washington state where she plans to re-locate in 2023. For more information, visit her website: www.renamason.ink
